The Good News: It is never too late to make changes and grow.
The Bad News (but not too bad): Changing and growing can be hard work! Yes, therapy can be difficult at times yet it is greatly rewarding and can create shifts into healing and profound transformation. I believe in therapy’s ability to transform us and to move us from dark days to days where we are living congruently with who we want to be. I would like to offer you a connection through this journey. You are not alone. I strive to bring my full authentic self to each session and provide acceptance, attentiveness and at times I hope to provide humor to our sessions.
As a therapist that has been practicing just about 20 years, I have gained experience working with a variety of concerns such as:
- Trauma
- Anxiety/Depression
- Recovery from Narcissistic/Toxic relationships
- People Pleasing/Codependency/Difficulty setting boundaries
- Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents
- Relationship Difficulties
- Divorce
- Grief, Loss and Life Transitions
- Low Self-Esteem/lack of self confidence
- Perfectionism/Overwhelm/Stress
- Loneliness
Some our work together may involve going deep to the root cause of the problem, looking at patterns and beliefs that are no longer working for us, and investigating the next step needed to create movement. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches to tailor to your needs/personality such as:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Trauma Focused
- Attachment Based
- Psychodynamic
- Reality Therapy
- Solution Focused
- Rogerian
- EMDR
- Family Systems
- Narrative Therapy
- Emotionally Focused
